The SP-UUU features an omnidirectional microphone with -23dB ultra high sensitivity that is wired for a steno machine, computer, USB adapter, or stereo microphone input jack along with a removable foam windscreen.

The microphone is a very small, one-piece microphone that can be plugged into any recorder or computer that supplies a bias voltage between 1.5 and 12 volts DC at the microphone input jack. The microphone element is built right into the end of the high quality gold-plated 3.5mm (1/8&quot) mini plug. The microphone is mono but it produces audio on both channels when plugged into a stereo recorder.

The SP-UUU microphone has an extended frequency response and a very natural and accurate sound, providing deep, solid bass, smooth midrange and clean highs. Vocals come through clean and crisp. It has a very wide dynamic range and will handle high sound pressure levels.
